Strap on your headphones and listen on repeat!!!

David's superpower is his ability to tap into the stifled, screaming recesses of our minds, those hidden places where we yearn and ache and thirst for 'something more'. His words are both sage and true, a gentle but necessary reminder, a soothing salve for the chafing of the world against our creatively-starved souls.

A Perfect “Kick in the Pants"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another inspiring resource from my favorite, David duChemin! I thoroughly enjoyed binge-listening to the first three episodes and I can't wait to hear more. The exact "kick in the pants" (to borrow his phrasing!) that my art and soul needs. Looking forward to the next episode!

A must for all creators

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Forget tech and how-tos, David's here for the WHY. Stop drowning in podcasts about gear and marketing and treat your brain to a much bigger picture. David is an incredible podcast host and person, and while he himself pursues photography he is here for every kind of creator. Your brain and heart - and your art - will thank you for listening.

The real deal

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

David is the philosopher poet extending his hand to you to join him in being human; in creating whatever it is you create. Although his medium is photography, his encouragment, insight, and warnings apply to every creator, that is, everyone. His style is so relatable, so real, so lacking in "direction" as in "do this, do that" and so full of "enlightenment" as in "here is where you are, whether you realize it or not, and here is the path to a better you". If you recognize that you, being human, create something every day, and if you want to be more conscious of it and more deliberate in your making, you can find no better guide than David duChemin.

Sublime

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not sure how he’s done it again, but he’s done it again. I’ve been following David for about 10 years and am constantly floored by the insight and perspective he continually brings to the table. I’ve been missing the YouTube talks, so these podcasts were a wonderful surprise. Refreshing as always and can’t wait to see how this series evolves.

Amazingly Relevant

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just came across this podcast . . . and Wow! am I glad I did. Each topic to date has been so relevant to the creative process, to what often hinders our expression of this creativity, and how we can overcome it. Episode 4 on Perfection(ism) really hit me — both upside the head, and inside the heart. David’s presentation and explanation of this may be the best I’ve heard. And all in just over 10 minutes. If you are a “creative” of any type, I highly recommend listening to, and absorbing this wonderful information.

Great Advice For Creative People

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just finished listening to episodes 1 through 5. Wow! Inspirational and dead on. David’s choice of topics is just what I needed to hear. From The Impost Syndrome to Perfectionism. Suddenly I am not alone in my creative doubts and received sound advice for getting beyond them.
